THE ONE-ON-ONE PITCHES WILL TAKE PLACE IN MONTREAL ON NOVEMBER 26th, FROM 9 A.M. TO 4.35 P.M.

With over 10 years of existence, the One-on-One Pitches are one of the flagship activities of the Forum RIDM. Its goal is to encourage professional meetings between members of the industry, for the benefit of documentary projects carried by producers, self-producing filmmakers, and/or distributors. It offers a unique opportunity for projects seeking funding and visibility.

Throughout the day, producers, self-producing filmmakers, and distributors will have the chance to present their projects to renowned professionals from Canada and abroad during individual 15-minute meetings organized in a speed dating format.

If you haven’t yet purchased your pass, you can do so on the Forum RIDM Box Office page starting October 29. Once your pass has been purchased, you’ll be redirected here, on b.square, to create your account. This account will allow you to request and schedule your meetings.

After purchasing your pass, please read the following before creating your account:

  • If you are a project holder, you will be invited to select a profile type, either “Single Project” or “Multiple Projects”. (The third option, “Industry Representative,” does not apply to you.) Please note that these two profile types function very differently, and it is not possible to change your type once your account has been created. While “Single Project” profiles are designed to showcase a project, “Multiple Projects” profiles are meant to present the catalogue of a company or an individual; presentations of your various projects will be attached to your profile as a catalogue in PDF format or via a link to your website, but they will not appear directly on your b.square profile. If you have several projects to present but one is your main focus, it may be more appealing for you to choose a “Single Project” profile.
  • You will receive a confirmation email in order to create your account. Unfortunately, these emails often end up in spam folders: please make sure to check there as well!
  • Before your account is activated, it must be manually approved by a member of the Forum RIDM team. This process may take longer if your account is created outside regular business hours.
